Gilbert Public School District Athletics

Our athletic program is comprised of five high schools, six junior high schools and one academy which is a combined junior high and high school.

Desert Ridge, Gilbert, Highland and Mesquite High Schools compete on the 5A Division I level, Campo Verde High School competes on the 4A Division I level, while Gilbert Classical Academy (GCA) competes on the 1A Division level.

Our junior high schools, which consist of 7th and 8th grade students, make up the Superstition Conference and they compete within themselves with a wide array of sports offered. We offer many different sporting opportunities for high school and junior high school students with great success in all areas. Please come and support our student-athletes.

All GPS athletes that participate in sports on the high school level will need to take the A.I.A. Concussion Awareness Training. This is a 50 minute course that once completed, the student will print up a certificate and take it to their athletic office at their high school. The athletes will only need to take this course once in their high school career. Please click on the link below to start this course.
