The mission of the Mesquite High School Counseling Dept Student is to provide support for all students with their academic, social, and college and career planning, and to promote the student development in becoming good citizens and productive members of society. We believe every student is capable of learning and we promote an environment that encourages learning, responsibility, and productivity. Through the use of semiannual meetings, we guide the student in proper course selection, college or university goals, and personal growth in other areas. We stress personal initiative and will partner with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure growth and success in this area.
