Reading Renaissance What is Reading Renaissance? Reading Renaissance is an extension of the computerized independent reading program called Accelerated Reader. It is a supplement to the district adopted reading series. The Accelerated Reader computer program allows students to read a variety of authentic literature from within each school site's wide-selection of titles and take a computerized comprehension quiz. The Accelerated Reader program keeps track of the books students have read independently and how well they understood them. A list of books for each school can be viewed on the schools' websites and is accessible to students through their classroom computers. Students and parents may also view the list on their home computers. Visit the AR Info&BookFind link on your school's website to track progress. | |
Renaissance Home Connect Renaissance has a special feature called Renaissance Home Connect. Renaissance Home Connect is a fun, easy-to-use, easy-to-understand web-based interface (web page) that allows students, parents and the teacher to share in the educational experience by viewing progress while outside of school.
