Network Administrator/Manager

The network services group is responsible for providing and maintaining all network services in the district. This includes server resources, application software, and network infrastructure. We maintain both the client and server side of these systems. Examples of the resources we provide include: library catalog systems, Internet access and research tools, curriculum enhancement software, fundamental skills enhancement tools, basic office automation support, attendance reporting, student testing support, vocational training support, etc.

 

We currently are supporting 40 school locations and all district offices with over 10,000 computer systems. These systems run multiple OS platforms including Macintosh, MS Windows and Novell Netware.

 

Currently Network services personnel provide: Network administration, Help Desk Services, hardware and software upgrade and replacement, systems installations, network infrastructure support (LAN/WAN), support for construction projects such as new schools and remodeling, network design and engineering, and we oversee subcontractor support for various tasks.
