  • Our 2014-2015 GJHS Open House will be held on Tuesday, August 5th from 6:00pm till 7:30pm. Don't miss out on this opportunity to visit each of your students classes, meet teachers and become familiar with our campus.  We look forward to seeing you!

  • Don't forget TIGER DAYS (formerly known as Bookstore Days).  You will pick up your class schedule, be able to purchase a yearbook, PE uniforms, PE locks and an activity card.  Lots of other information will be available. Don't miss out!!  Tiger Days will be held on Monday, July 28th and Tuesday,July 29th from 9:00am till 6:00 pm in the cafeteria.  See you there!

  • BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST:
     
     Items needed:
    • 1 three ring binder for class work and other materials (2-3 inches)
    • 1 three ring binder for PRIDE book and homework (1/2-1 inch)
    • 15 dividers total
    • 1 spiral notebook with pockets
    • loose-leaf notebook paper
    • pencil pouch
    • pencil sharpener
    • #2 pencils
    • blue or black ink pens
    • red pens for grading
    • highlighters (2-3 different colors)
    • flash drive

    Your student's teachers may have a few more specific items they want their students to have depending on the class.  The items listed above are the minimum required to start school.

  • Please do not forget to call your child in late or absent on the day of their absence.  A child is considered absent in a class if the miss 10 minutes or more in that class.  Students must be in their seats in order not to be marked absent or tardy. 
     
    Please have your ID ready when picking up your child early from school.
